Compared to the States, the pace of life is a bit slow in Colombia. Standard business hours, and I use the term standard loosely, are roughly 9am - 1130am and then from 230 pm - 6 pm. Fortunately, I was able to join a gym that has great hours and pretty good facilities.
I also am close to having a job and Spanish classes, more to come as these details get finalized next week (I hope).
