Tried to say: "We're playing like crap!"
Actually said: "Jugamos como cacahuate!"
Actual meaning: "We're playing like peanut!"
And everybody had a good laugh, except me who was mildly confused (I looked up crap later, it's "caca" so I wasn't THAT far off). Another day in the life of a gringo.

So someday when you have kids you can teach them to say Peanuts! instead of crap.
